NY Times and Presidential Addresses

The New York Times
online just keeps impressing me with the work they do to provide texts with analytical tools. The latest is the offering of all presidential speeches with word clouds and frequency indicators, all in a timeline and links to the speeches, with words you select in context. Check it out here: "Inaugural Words: 1789 to the Present." Meanwhile, the link to it, while on the front page, is simply a tiny bit of text with an even tinier icon. How do you make money doing this? I don't know.

Repurposing

I was using this blog last semester for my Literary Criticism class, but this semester I'll simply re-use it for my Contemp Rhet class, adding observations about things I find myself noticing about rhetoric and contemporary media.

Stay tuned!
